Janet Homes attended Queens College and received a Bachelor of Art Degree in Sociology and minored in Early Childhood, Elementary Education.  She has 16 years experience working with children of all ages. The Adventures of Cotton Sinclair Pegasus Island is her first adventure chapter book for young readers.  She loves to write children stories and poems in her spare time. She resides in New York City with her daughter and granddaughter.
