Alisha was born to proud parents Greg and Judy. Although raised in the city, the state university is her home away from home where she currently resides as a junior and anticipates completing her undergraduate degree in English liberal arts. Alisha’s skill for writing began at the age of twelve by means of therapy, and she quickly realized by writing her feelings and events down on pages each day, this outlet began a slow and transformative healing process that would come to fruition several years later. As a child and throughout adolescence, Alisha was attacked and bullied by her peers; writing allowed her to release her anger and frustrations onto paper. As the years went on in this attitude, Alisha proved she was able to overcome the battle of bullying in her book, I Am His and He Is Mine. Since her victory in God, Alisha has faithfully served the Lord for the last nine years of her life and continues to serve him through her works in ministry and praise. She has also actively outreached to fellow youth during her time as an academic peer advocate within the residential life organization at the state university. As a young, twenty-one-year-old writer, Alisha has continued to be a beacon for many young people and an avid encourager for many individuals who truly feel unloved and alone.
