Southern California resident and graduate of California State University, Fullerton. with a B.A. in Psychology and an M.A. in Social Science. Enjoyed a 26-year career with the Orange County, California Probation Department, retiring as a division director. I've written all my life, short stories and essays, which have been published in anthologies and magazines. After retiring I began writing mystery novels which unfold through the inner workings of the probation system, an aspect of law enforcement rarely written about. My female probation officer, Linda Davenport, has many adventures, which start in my first book, NO STONE UNTURNED. The sequel, NO GOOD DEED, followed, and now my third recently released book, NO DEADLIER DESTINY continues her story All are set in southern California. My intimate knowledge of the probation system ensures the reader will have an accurate glimpse into probation's role in the criminal justice system, while following an engrossing story line.
Reader's Favorite gave NO DEADLIER DESTINY a five-star review. - ...."fast -paced and exciting..... Fratto's plot is well crafted, and her characters are fully drawn and credible. NO DEADLIER DESTINY is highly recommended."
