Jennifer Preston Chushcoff (call her Jenn) was born in Los Angeles and graduated from UC Berkeley. Her writing includes award-winning children's books including, SNOWFLAKES: A POP-UP, nature poetry and contributions to anthologies. She loves weaving science, biography and history into her work wherever she can. 

Her "Fairy Gothmother" tales run the gamut from silly to spooky, often containing elements of each.

She lives in Washington State where she regularly frolics in the woods and water searching for her lost childhood.
