After writing about the triumph of bad taste, the weirdness of political campaigning, the cushy lives of household pets, and the impenetrable smugness of clergy, it’s probably not surprising that he would write a comic novel about home invasion.
In a previous incarnation, Jim Delay was a reporter, writer, and editor for Life magazine where he covered the White House, the Congress, the space program, the civil rights movement, and reported on science, medicine, sports, entertainment, and more hurricanes, fires, and floods than he expected.
Jim has also been editorial director for both CBS and ABC (although not simultaneously). He is founder and managing director of Syntax: The Word Company, a consulting form that specializes in corporate communications, and in encouraging companies to avoid pomposity.
He lives on Cape Cod, and sometimes revisits a house where he once lived, far away on Hickory Road.
