John Cheney is the author of City of Spies, a new historical thriller. John's previous work includes writing and directing several short films that have played at festivals across America and in Europe. He loves to travel, absorbing the culture and history of every place he encounters. Born and raised in Kalamazoo, Michigan, John has spent several years living in Germany, England, and Los Angeles. City of Spies is his first novel. John is currently writing his next novel, present-day thriller The Apocalypse Men.
