John is a former commercial photographer and videographer who traveled halfway around the world working for many Fortune 500 companies. He was in Scotland on September 11th and that changed his life. The career he had known and loved was pulled out from under him, like so many other Americans. His wife of twenty years suggested he look into her career, nursing and he did. It was not an easy endeavor at forty-eight years old, but hard work and school paid off. He spent the next fifteen years in a fulfilling career as an OR nurse.
