I began writing full time in 2012 after a career that included finance positions in technology in the US and Europe, and in two small biotechnology companies. I studied English Literature and writing in college, graduating with Distinction in English. In Minneapolis, I am a member of the Loft, two critique groups that include several published writers, and the Midwest Mystery Works. Fail Deadly was longlisted for the 2019 Grindstone novel contest and a short story was shortlisted for the 2015 William Faulkner – William Wisdom prize. I am a judge for the Royal Palm Literary Award.
