John Umhoefer has written for business and personal enjoyment since college, where a degree in Journalism from the University of Wisconsin led to trade magazine and newspaper work in the dairy industry. Leading the Wisconsin Cheese Makers Association for the past 32 years, John has penned over 500 columns for national and international dairy publications while creating short stories and a novel of speculative fiction in his free time. John is married to book services professional Sara DeHaan and they live in Madison, Wisconsin.
