John Wemlinger is a retired Colonel having served 27 years in the Regular US Army. He now lives in northwest Michigan, close to Lake Michigan and, for the most part, writes novels set in that spectacularly beautiful part of the United States. His works reflect his understanding of American military culture and through his novels he has become a strong voice for veterans' rights.
