My mom died of an asthma attack when I was nine. My step mom died two years later giving birth to my baby sister. Then a year after that I fell off a cliff snowmobiling. I was paralyzed from the waste down. Science, doctors and physics said I would never walk again. I was in a wheelchair for three years. I got out of the wheelchair and not only walk now, but I am a sponsored Jiu Jitsu athlete on a world level competing against able bodied individuals. I recently started my writing career and published my first book January 16th 2021. I wrote a book about the lessons I learned through fighting all the pain and adversity in my life. I thought my book might be able to help people and their own personal struggles.
