I began nearly age 7, getting frequent ideas for poems or stories. In my Spirit, I knew, even then that I was a writer. I would often get up at night, while everyone else slept and sneak into my closet which had a pull down string light, trying not to awaken my sleeping sister, who shared my room, began to write down many creations in my little head. I knew then that I had the skill to become a writer. Later in High School, I won an essay contest, sponsored by the American Legion, on "Why I love America". My dreams of becoming a published writer. Burned within me. "Writer's Starve!". was the mantra I heard from parents, professors, and society, in general. I finished my education, and became proficient as a business owner consultant. Writing had never left my passion. Through may years of working, marriage and health challenges, my passion to write professionally only grew. I made several admissions, without success. My deep commited love of the lord, and his love for all of us, through all our trials, joys and sorrows became a "fire" which is unquenchable. I have in these pages released this lifelong passion to share readers. I hope to touch their spirits, inspire and enkindle their hearts and minds, elevating them to soar above the mundane.
