I'm a Slovenian-Belgian writer with a taste for twisty tales.
My early writing in Slovenian has been published in local and national magazines. Fast forward to a screenplay-writing course in my mid-twenties, when I got the first taste that writing could be more than a hobby. Following the course, I wrote a screenplay for a feature film, which was acquired through a tender by the then Film Foundation of Slovenia.
After moving out of Slovenia, I switched to writing in English. I've since lived in Germany, Belgium and Brazil.
My thriller, 'No Such Thing as Goodbye', was shortlisted and received an honourable mention at 'The Black Spring Crime Fiction Prize 2020'. My short story collection 'Add Cyanide to Taste' won the 2022 IndieReader Discovery Award for short stories. My short story 'Three Roses' was licensed for LeVar Burton Reads Podcast.
I currently live in Belgrade with my husband and two mischievous cats who ensure I take regular breaks and generously donate their hair to my wardrobe.
