Attorney, Mediator, Workplace Investigator
With more than thirty years experience in human resource management, law and employee/labor relations, Kathleen claims she had the good fortune of reaching adulthood during the cauldron of the 1960s. Conflict over women’s rights, civil rights, race relations and U.S. military interventions in Vietnam and Southeast Asia also provoked the development of important diversity initiatives.
A perennial student of behavior and advocate of collaborative systems, Kathleen’s work has focused on the power of diversity to build relationships and transform organizations through effective communication and interest-based decision-making, problem solving, training, coaching and dispute resolution. A recognized expert in workplace mediation, Kathleen was invited to speak at the World Mediation Forum in Sardinia, Italy.
Mystic, Poet, Writer
When Kathleen’s father died three days before her fifth birthday, she began to experience a connection to the mystical nature of the universe that would set the course for her life. Her father’s small library included books by Plato, Spinoza, Nietzsche, Shakespeare and Walt Whitman. Reading these great works and a near-death experience at fourteen inspired her to explore the esoteric and begin writing. In her twenties, Kathleen was invited to join a group of mediums as a novitiate where she spent two years studying this psychic phenomenon. Now, in the third trimester of her life, she is committed to making a contribution to understanding the spiritual and co-creative nature of human relationships. An exciting and transformative playground!
