Katia Tavitian Karageuzian, Pharm. D., was born in Beirut, Lebanon. In 1984, she immigrated to California with her family. There she received her doctorate in Pharmacy from the University of Southern California, met her husband, and had two sons. Parallel to her career in pharmacy, when she’s not spending time with her family, Karageuzian is painting, reading about history and politics, or volunteering with several nonprofit organizations. Most recently, she began working with a genocide education committee.  

Karageuzian loves giving back to and sharing stories with her community almost as much as she loves writing. Her favorite part of both is the opportunities they give her to celebrate diversity, common experiences, and aspirations. She hopes her discoveries transform the lives of others the way they have hers.
