Ken Powe was born in Birmingham, Alabama and earned a Bachelor’s and Masters degree in English from the University of Alabama. Afterwards, he taught English full time as a faculty member of three different universities for fifteen years while recording and performing music professionally, often traveling to Europe to perform, during summer months between semesters. In 2010, he earned an MBA and is currently an independent business consultant.
