Ketari Cole was born and raised on the Southside of Chicago. She found her love for writing poetry after reading Gwendolyn Brooks and found her passion for writing after reading I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings by Dr. Maya Angelou. Both trailblazers play generous roles in her writing her first book Poetic Bars & Random Thoughts and now, Terror Town: Child Interrupted.

Writing this novel has been a dream of hers for many years. With this novel series, she hopes to start a conversation about generational curses, child rape as well as violence in her hometown and everywhere a voice needs to be heard.

Ketari Cole now resides in Atlanta, GA with her two children working as a Director of Finance.

This is her debut novel. The next novel in the Terror Town series will be coming soon.
