Kim has been a freelance photographer for over 25 years and practices mindfully observing her world and the people in it every day. She teaches a class called the Mindful Photographer because she finds her gratitude increases as she carefully takes in her views and she wants to share that process with others. After practicing Buddhism and meditation for many years now Kim leads workshops that share what she has learned about handling the emotional stresses involved with raising a child with a mental illness, specifically Attachment Disorder, and with dealing with difficult people in general. Though she is an artist, writing is a stretch for her but her adopted son Keydell taught her determination and what it means to strive for your goals no matter your circumstances. She lives in RI with her husband Jim, son Keydell and misses her two older children who live in California.
