Hello!
Some of you may know my writing from my blogging days (rest in peace The Fox's Feast) back when I would do restaurants reviews. As much as I loved my blog, and poured myself into it for two years whilst managing a growing career, I felt that style of writing was becoming a chore and it wasn't what I was passionate about.
I have always loved writing fictional stories, and have a collection squirreled away that was just for me. In March 2020, when lock down hit, a friend and I decided to start up an amateur writing club. Our writing club was great fun, and I knew I had rekindled my passion for stories.
My friends urged me to consider publishing and well... here I am!
My writing can be terribly dark. Horror is my favourite genre and it is an absolute honour to say that I have contributed one more nasty, terrifying story to the already incredible selection out there.
By complete contrast to my favourite genre, I am passionate about mental health and trying to be positive (I'm only human... it's hard). My friends will agree that I am forever 'manifesting' good things to come! I'm currently studying to become a CBT Therapist and loving it.
I am unsure what the future holds for me and my writing. At this moment, I am basking in the overwhelming fear and excitement of putting work out into the universe and scarier... the internet.
Now that I have this website it will be easier for me to share my work in one place. I hope you enjoy and that you will get in touch if you have any questions.
Thanks!
Kirsten
