Kyle is one of China's best known translators of juvenile fiction--two-time winner of the Nanjing Young Writers Award. He spent years absorbing the stories and ideas of ancient and modern Chinese authors before bringing his own worlds to life in poetry and novels. He is a humanist and lover of foreign languages and cultures. He is also a VP at Academic Programs International and an instructor at Clemson University and Parami University.

On weekends, Kyle and his dog Opal are in the garden or on a mountaintop with their paws and feet in the dirt.
