There are two things about L.J. McLean (Landon McLean as his real name).
One, he’s a writer. Writing fiction has been hew escape and sanity helper since 2007, ever since he attended a creative writing class in Yucaipa, CA to create the building blocks for Mana Pool, his debute post-apocalyptic novel of a twisted version of 2012, and combat his research paper issues that plagued him since grade school. Since then he self published Mana Pool, was the lead fiction editor for The Chaffey Review (Vol. 1 and 2), and wrote several short stories and novellas in and out of Nanowrimo. His other works are on the website and his DeviantART, mostly from the Road to Recovery series.
All his stories are visual works with relatable situations and adoring central characters, including intense action, drama, and stretching familiar science fiction and fantasy concepts to their limits. He dreams of having one of his series become officially published and read by thousands.
Second is he works a lot with technology. He has an Bachelors in Information Systems in Cybersecurity from ITT Technical Institute, specializing in small business network administration, Mac and PC technical support, server administration, network setups, software troubleshooting, and security consulting. But writing he will always do. He also loves homebrewing occasionally and loves a good craft beer.
He now lives in Big Bear Lake, California with his family and two cats, Jynx and Moo.
