Lanette Sweeney's debut collection, What I Should Have Said: A Poetry Memoir about Losing a Child to Addiction, was published in 2021 by Finishing Line Press. Sweeney, previously writing under the last names Fisher, and then  Fisher-Hertz, has been publishing her work in literary magazines, anthologies and daily newspapers for the past four decades.
