Larry Pratt first started tinkering with the family boat in 1984. His tinkering has never stopped. Coming from a long line of engineers, he has always investigated all things mechanical. The marine fuel-efficiency question has led him to seminars, conferences and conversations with representatives of companies in both the automotive and boating worlds.
