Leticia Ordaz is an Emmy-nominated anchor/reporter and award-winning author in Sacramento, California. As a Latina mother of two Spanish-speaking boys, she sees the importance of having more bilingual books. After spending countless nights translating picture books into Spanish for her kids, Leticia decided it was time to write her own stories for the world to read. She wants her sons to be proud of their culture and feel represented in more picture books. The Carousel King and the Space Mission is Leticia's fourth book. She's been recognized by the International Latino Book Awards seven times since 2020.
