About the Author
Long Island was home for 25 years, where Lynn and husband Larry raised their four sons. She wrote for a local newspaper in a folksy weekly community column, and expanded her skills into feature articles. This happened when the editor of that newspaper was following her grassroots movement to save a neglected shopping center. “Nothing was working on all prior levels, so I gave it a go with a nod from officials who joined in where they could!” It proved successful and boosted morale in her home town. “What I have learned is that impossible tasks can be done with a little creativity.” For most, at this stage in life, it is an easy decision to finish out your destiny after you retire.” Since living in the Carolinas for more than ten years, there was a display show in the local library for her copyrighted original creations, with a plan for upcoming newer, expanded works. A lot of works are designed to bring joy to the spirit. “Even hospitalized children need a feeling of self worth and hope. That is always on my mind.”
