LYNN WALKER worked for years with at-risk high school students whose parents were drug addicts and alcoholics. Her work with these resilient teens compelled her to try reconnecting with her estranged father who had been a Miami undercover narcotics agent-turned-drug smuggler. What she ultimately found entangled in his story was part of her own, and she wrote Midnight Calling: A Memoir of a Drug Smuggler's Daughter.
Her second book, Breaking Midnight: A True Story, is about her father's infamous life. Based on interviews Lynn conducted with her father, this is an uncensored, up-close-and-personal account of how a good cop goes bad.
Her third book, A Perfectly Good Fantasy: A Memoir, is the darkly funny sequel to Midnight Calling.
