The author, Malabika Ray, is a seasoned engineer with a penchant for writing crime thrillers. It started as a hobby, which soon got appreciation, first from the friend of families and later from the Facebook page where she put the story serialized.

She lived and worked in four different countries and have interest in different cultures and histories, which manifests in her writing. She is also very keen on global politics and current affairs. With a good sense of humour, she believes in telling stories, however complex, in an engaging, colloquial tone.

She is based in Sweden and lives in the suburbs of Stockholm with her husband, daughter and Merlin, the cat!
