Mark Evans lives along the midcoast of Maine with his wife, Lisa. He worked for over thirty years as a Carpenter and Construction Foreman. Twenty-seven of those years were with a General Contractor completing renovations, new construction and building housing for people with disabilities. Mark is happy to have used his skills to help those in need. Recently, Mark chose self-employment to allow more time for creative projects and fun adventures.
Mark loves a challenge. In his twenties, he completed a thru-hike of the Appalachian Trail from Georgia to Maine. Mark and his wife have hiked to all of the Appalachian Mountain Club White Mountain Huts at least once. Together, they are working on the 4,000 footers of New England. Mark performs with his wife and band at local coffeehouses and open mics playing guitar, harmonica and singing.
Mark appreciates and values creative collaboration and shared experiences. A group of close friends and family produced the cover artwork, provided editing and publishing. Everything was homegrown. Everyone pooled their time, talents and creativity. It took a year and a half to complete. Mark extends his gratitude to all who have helped make this dream come true.
