Mary Rowen is a Boston-area mom to teenagers, a couple of cats, and a feisty mutt. Her writing--both fiction and nonfiction--tends to focus on women figuring out what they want from life and becoming comfortable in their own skin. Mary grew up in the Massachusetts Merrimack Valley, and is a graduate of Providence College. She has worked as a teacher, writer, salesperson, and political canvasser.
