Author, actor, host, speaker, producer, travel expert, and entrepreneur Michael Gordon Bennett, is founder and CEO of Bennett Global Entertainment (BGE) a media, motion picture, and television production company established as an outlet to produce stories that span the scope of human existence. BGE currently has a motion picture, television series, and a new magazine in development. He’s produced programming for The Travel Channel, NBC, FOX, and BET. Other professional accomplishments include: television and radio news producer, advertising and marketing executive, blogger for The Huffington Post and magazine writer.

The critically acclaimed 7-10 Split is his first book.  He recently completed a second book, Rusty’s War: A Battle of the Mind, a story of his mother’s battle with Alzheimer’s and how she’s come to depend on her little dachshund, Rusty, for comfort and support.  He will soon start a third book, based loosely on the true story of an integrated casino in 1955 Las Vegas. Bennett will also be writing the screenplay for this project. He has a degree in Journalism from California State University, Northridge.

In addition to his sports related hobbies (pretty much anything), and consuming several books a month, Bennett is deeply involved in travel and tourism. Having once been a Senior Producer and manager for The Travel Channel. He was appointed to the BrandUSA marketing/advisory committee established as part of the Travel Promotion Act signed into law by President Barack Obama in 2010. He currently sits on the board for Travel Professionals of Color. Bennett has spoken or presented at numerous travel and tourism events on everything from social and traditional media to global cultural experiences.

Bennett is a United States Air Force veteran, has one adult son, and currently lives in Las Vegas.
