Michael J. DeRosa is a college graduate with a B.A. in composition, and graduate work at the Julliard School of Music. He is a retired teacher, band director, choir director, and general music teacher with over forty years’ experience in private, public, performing arts schools, and continues to teach as a substitute teacher to this day. His many years of working with children made writing a teenage adventure story second nature to him.  He has also been a private researcher of the world grid, for most of his life, (a theory that there once existed a network of aligned sacred and ancient sites that composed what is commonly termed today 'The World-Grid'.)  He and his wife Cheryl A. DeRosa live in the Albany, NY area, have four grown children, and his three sons all work professionally in film and television, in NYC.  His adaptation of the novel to a screenplay, movie franchise, and TV pilot/series are as yet to be optioned or produced.
