My name is Michael Maira and I am a high school history teacher in Medford, New Jersey. Kingdom of the lost is my first novel, and is currently available for free on Amazon Kindle. The idea was to drum up interest and hopefully attract a literary agent. The story itself is written in a way that it is accessible and entertaining to any audience from young high schoolers to adults. It is 105,000 words, a fictional adventure/fantasy novel. Although it certainly falls under the contemporary fantasy genre, I keep it grounded enough to where it is believable.
