Michelle Naguib is a pediatric dentist who lives in the sunny state of Florida with her husband and two sons. She started writing as a cathartic outlet after her eldest son, who has autism, went missing because, she says, “It’s cheaper than therapy.” In writing about her experience, Michelle realized that sharing her story could help others understand the challenges faced by many special needs families. So in addition to “mom” and “pediatric dentist,” she is now an “aspiring author” who hopes her work will take us a small step closer to the inclusion of all people.
