Michelle Peck, a native of Southeast Texas, is a school teacher by day and science fiction writer by night. When not teaching or writing she enjoys reading, watching international shows, listening to soothing music, traveling, and taking long hikes in nature. Michelle has previously worked as a librarian, correctional officer, massage therapist, database programmer, accountant, medical researcher, and social worker. She never ceases to be amazed by her curiosity and has found each career choice to be an exciting opportunity to learn more about life and the beautiful people who make it all worthwhile.
