Mike Cavaliere is a multi-award-winning storyteller, published book author and humorist.
His first book, Tracks in the Sand: Sea Turtles and Their Protectors, won the Florida Press Association’s President’s Book Award Silver Medal. He also served as editor of Explore the Southeast National Marine Sanctuaries with Jean-Michele Cousteau, which won the Independent Book Publishers Association’s 2011 Ben Franklin Award.
A recovering journalist, his weekly humor column, "Common Nonsense," won several awards from the Local Media Association and Better Weekly Newspaper Contest. It was originally published in The Observer newspapers in Palm Coast and Ormond Beach, Florida, then syndicated throughout the state.
He currently directs news/media relations efforts for the world's leading aviation/aerospace university, holds an MBA and lives in Florida with his wife, stepdaughter and two dogs.
His latest book, The Humorist: Adventures in Adulting & Horror Movies, is out now.
