Don’t Back Down is Mike O’Neill’s debut memoir. In 2017, Mike O’Neill was named the Region 7-6A Coach of the Year for Collierville High School in Tennessee. He graduated from the University of Memphis with a BA in Business Management, later earning his MA in Education to pursue his calling of mentoring youth. After coaching football for 28 years, O’Neill retired in 2018 following a throat cancer diagnosis. Despite another cancer diagnosis in 2020, O’Neill brings his “A” game with faith and determination to overcome adversity. When he’s not chasing the latest cure for cancer, he enjoys traveling and spending time with his family.
