Myla Taylor is a writer who lives significantly south of the North Pole (the Los Angeles area). Her deep love for Christmas inspired her to write Snatching St. Nick. Plus, as a child, she lived next door to a bad little boy who most definitely thought of kidnapping Santa. Myla’s sci-fi short story - “Lavender Sheets” - was published in The Memory Eaters anthology. She has also had a fantasy short story and some articles published on Yahoo’s Contributor Network. In addition, as a marathoner, she has contributed articles to a national women’s running website and is a proud member of the Society of Children Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI). Besides literary writing, Myla has a background in the entertainment industry. She was a fellow in the Fox Writers Initiative Program in which she optioned a TV drama. Besides Christmas, Myla has a passionate love for her rescue cat named Kitsie, going to the dentist, and balancing her checkbook.
