The inspiration for her debut novel - vanished. - came from an overland journey she took from Bangkok to London from 1978 to 1979. The Boy in the Suitcase is her second novel and the first in The Concealing Sea mystery series. She has also authored three books of non-fiction, two in the field of presidential/legal studies.
