Melissa A. Campesi is an Educator, Children's Author, and the Creator & Founder of the Cross-Cultural Storytelling Project. She is inspired by literacy, music, & cultures. Her message in her latest book, “Imagine Song” is to empower children to be courageous and curious about exploring their own creativity. Melissa lives in New Jersey with her family and enjoys writing poetry and music. Her first book is a children's non-fiction titled, “I am an English-Language Learner-The Real and Unique Stories of Immigrant Children in America” which recently received the 2023 M. Jerry Weiss Book Award for Best Picture Book in New Jersey by the West Jersey Reading Council and New Jersey Literacy Association.
