Nancy Roy honed her writing skills on planes, trains and in countless hotel rooms while traveling the US as a corporate executive. Though currently living in New England, and claiming strong ties to the "hot dish belt" of the Minnesota heartland, Nancy holds firmly to her roots of growing up a western girl in a rodeo town.  Never willing to compromise, she continues to portion time between the roles of business woman, avid author, wife and Duchess (her grandma name). Nancy makes her home among the rich characters, history and sailboats that are Newport, Rhode Island. There she resides with her personal terra firma, her husband Fred.
