Nancy Tavares is the BiblioKid author of Chicken Coop Chaos. Her debut book was inspired by observing her neighbors' backyard chickens in a suburban town. Nancy taught reading and writing to elementary children for 30 years, so her book characters might take on some of her students' personalities! She's passionate about getting the right books in children's hands to encourage a life-long love of reading. Nancy loves animals, birds, sewing, reading, and spending time with her family.
