Nathan Richendollar is a teenager from Michigan who has written his 1st book, "Sic Semper Res Publica: The Political Ramblings of a Disgruntled Midwestern Teenager". Richendollar is deeply concerned about what he perceives as the decline America has spiralled into. The author takes a hopeful but foreboding tone as he addresses all of America's issues. From healthcare to the banking system, from immigration to national defense and our spending binges, Richendollar tackles all in this work. He is eager for common sense to reach his generation and others.
Nathan Richendollar has taken multiple AP courses in his years of study and has an innate curiosity for economics, history, politics, sports, music and the natural world. Richendollar researches salamanders, hikes with his family & loyal dog "Noble", plays the guitar, is involved in several extra-curricular groups, monitors markets, and reads Founders' quotes for fun.
The Voice Newspaper and The Macomb Daily Newspaper each printed articles about the book's release. One reporter noted, "To pull readers in, Richendollar uses sarcasm and satirical humor while discussing the nation's problems in a practical sense." - Katelyn Larese (The Voice News). A top 500 Amazon reviewer (Digsblues) noted that, "The book goes into detailed explanations and gives plenty of examples." 'Digsblues' went on to note that, "...It's not the usual surface left/right argument." Other Amazon reviewers have remarked about this book, "fantastic", "a challenging and significant book", "Excellent book that makes you rethink your own views on America", "Author gives examples and solutions to some of America's biggest problems.", "outstanding" and "It's obvious the author did his homework. I recommend reading this book regardless of your political views." Nathan has been a guest on WJR radio Detroit with Frank Beckmann who said, "I am just blown away (by this book)". WFNT, Flint's news radio host Tom Sumner then welcomed Nathan for a lengthy interview. Sara Marie Brenner ( Brenner Brief.com ) invited Nathan for her "Freedom Friday" broadcast out of Ohio. She later tweeted , "...smart one he is." Nathan has been a guest speaker for several freedom-loving groups and had the opportunity to speak with Col. Allen West.
This young man believes that history has everything to teach us about our future and that people must become personally responsible if we are to maintain hope for our nation. Richendollar does not consider himself unique and does not wish to be considered as a novelty, but he realizes that his young age puts him in a unique position to share his perspective with both his own generation of future voters and current voters alike.
