Nohra is a Colombian kidlit author and mom of three boys. She has worked translating books for more than two decades and volunteers as a bilingual literacy promoter for young children at the public library, stealing time to read a bit more, dance, cook, and savor sunset strolls on the shore. She holds degrees from the Universidad Nacional de Colombia, Universitat de Barcelona, and Université Lumière Lyon 2. She homeschooled her kids until the family moved to Connecticut in 2009. Her musician husband illustrates her books.
