Ora Murphy (formerly known as Marietta Meade) is a professional Belgian-American actress, voice talent, translator, and author with a career spanning 57 years to date (2020). Ora is the German voice of: Jane Seymour (“Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman”), Hunter Tylo (“The Bold and the Beautiful”), Tilda Swinton, Emma Thompson, Joanne Walley-Kilmer, Geena Davis, Diana Rigg, Uma Thurman, Patsy Kensit, Carole Bouquet, Mary Elisabeth Mastrantonio, Veronica Hamel, Muriel Hemmingway, etc. Moreover, Ora is the (German, English and Italian) voice of German automobile manufacturer BMW’s navigation system, CARIN; the (British) voice of Switzerland’s UBS Bank (automated human response system), German automobile manufacturers MERCEDES and AUDI’s navigation systems, etc. In 2004, Ora and her late husband self-published their first book, “Tatwaffe Handy - Das (un-) heimliche Legat”, which Ora would later translate (English title: “A Handy Way to Cook Your Brain - What's the Damage?”). In 2009, Ora self-published the updated and abridged version, called “Cellular Radiation: Is This Our Next Titanic?” The Pruning is Ora’s debut novel which is inspired by true events.
