PATRICIA ANN PAUL’s world view developed from living in West Germany, Scotland, Australia, Papua New Guinea, and Kazakhstan as well as traveling in 49 states and in over 50 countries. Most especially, she values the opportunity of teaching and learning from her students at the high school and university levels in former West Germany, Papua New Guinea, and Kazakhstan.
Now she is a retired educator having taught students from sixth grade to the master’s level in the fields of literature, composition, and education. Training and participation in the National Writing Project has enhanced her professional life. She has shared her learning and research with high schools, school districts, and school boards. She is Past-President of the Colorado Language Arts Society presenting at CLAS conferences and publishing in their journal.
In retirement she enjoys teaching literature, history, and writing classes for the Osher Life-long Learning Institute at the University of Denver and has published in OLLI’s literary magazine Reflections. In her spare time, she relaxes by traveling, walking in the pine trees in Colorado, attending her grandchildren’s athletic events, and reading and discussing thought-provoking books.
