Homegrown in the beautiful South, where folks are warm, welcoming, sometimes whacky. OK, maybe more than a little, but we're fun! I love all genres, but gravitate toward and write historical fiction that has elements of romance, mystery, and little-known history. 

In 2014 I was stricken with a rare form of paralysis in my legs - not the 15 min. of fame I wanted, but it is what it is! One of the positives (and there were some!) of the tragedy was that I finally had plenty of time to write. My high school English teacher always begged me to write more, anyway. She'd be so happy - I received a Carrie McCray Memorial Literary Award. So, now I'm working hard to ditch this wheelchair, write some good stories, and continue finding joy in this life!
