Patricia Worth has a Master of Translation Studies from the Australian National University. She has translated French literature from 19th-century France and 21st-century New Caledonia. Her first translated novel, Spiridion by George Sand, was published by SUNY Press in 2015. Many short pieces have appeared in journals, for example The Brooklyn Rail, Delos Journal, and Southerly (Sydney University). A collection of stories by Jean Lorrain, Stories to Read by Candlelight, is forthcoming in 2019 from Odyssey Books.
