Patrick Cumby has been an entrepreneur, a strategist for governments and non-profits, and a business school professor. These days he’s a part-time nomad who loves exploring the map’s little-known corners and meeting the extraordinary people who call them home. He and his wife Jeanne sponsor aspiring entrepreneurs and students they’ve met in villages and cities across Africa and Asia. 

Patrick is an award winning author and a member of the Science Fiction & Fantasy Writers Association. He supports local writing groups and environmental causes in his hometown of Asheville, North Carolina.
