Paul Damien earned a PhD in Mathematics from Imperial College, London. He was on the faculty at Duke University and the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. At present, he holds an endowed professorship at the McCombs School of Business in the University of Texas at Austin. He has published over 100 papers in academic and industry publications, and is the recipient of multiple research awards.
His first crime thriller—Nannerl’s Symphony—is available worldwide. He was a finalist for the best poem at the U.S. National Library of Poetry Award.
An avid cook and a skilled martial artist, Paul divides his time between Pella, Iowa, and South Padre Island, Texas.
