I am a reborn follower of Jesus Christ and a first-time author. I never intended to write anything. Heck, I never even intended to read anything. I used to hate reading the Bible. It was hard to understand and a little on the boring side if I’m honest. But at age 53, my world changed. At a very low point, when I had nowhere else to turn, I turned to Jesus. Since that day, I found myself with an insatiable hunger for His word. I had to know everything about my Savior. Through literally thousands of hours of study, I began to learn and take notes.  Every night I would pray for wisdom, discernment, and clarity—and He did not disappoint. I began to see Jesus everywhere in the Old Testament. Suddenly, every story was about Him. He jumped off the page in stories about Joseph and Moses and David and Daniel. These were not just glimpses, but clearly visible and unmistakable portraits of the Lamb of God. Five years later I found myself publishing what I hope is a very readable and exciting book about the most amazing book ever written. I want you to see the Jesus that I see, and I will make you this promise.  The Bible will never be boring again.
